Staining Technique: Unlike coloring technique where it is mixed with wet concrete or its initial production, staining is used on hard concrete. This is also used to change the already existing color. Whenever you think of decorative concrete coating, nothing could be an apt choice other than Quartzdek. Prepared with quality resins and quartz mixture, this is an efficient decorative coating and colorfast material with many benefits like anti slippery, water resistant, and, and easy to clean. It does not require any painting material. In the market, many decorative coatings are available but nothing is comparable to Quartzdek.
There may be other reasons for concrete foundations to crumble. Soil may lose its moisture content in summer. There may be underground roots which may wither and die. Such natural causes make the soil shrink and hence the foundation may move. Though this movement is gradual, overtime it will cause cracks to occur. These cracks will be large gaping ones, running across the entire length of the foundation. They may even be in the form of tiny holes in certain places.
You can mix a batch of Cerlon at a time then trowel it because Cerlon will adhere to itself even if it is set without causing a cold joint. Cerlon sets in 10 minutes. Cerlon when setting the temperature reaches in excess of 140 degrees. In my opinion Cerlon to patch concrete is best product to use to eliminate salt from damaging the Concrete. Cerlon also sets fast so there is little or no down time on the area to be repaired. The only down side to Cerlon is the need for training so that Cerlon does not harden before you can finish it.
