Repair Driveway - Concrete Driveways wont last forever. Even the best laid concrete is subject to wear and tear, not to mention damage from sprinklers or other sources of water. Since driveways must carry heavy weight loads, the repaired area must be able to withstand significant pressure. The problem with concrete driveway crack filler, driveway concrete sealer and driveway cold patch is that the material is not as strong as the original concrete, and the bond is not always secure. When the repair breaks down, the damage is even worse than before it was fixed. What started as a simple driveway crack repair has turned into a major rehabilitation. With polyurethanes, the repair is strong yet flexible, preventing further breakdown. FlexSet actually bonds to the concrete driveway repair, making it last longer than just patching concrete driveways.
Stamped concrete is a very heavy material with which to work, and it dries quickly, so the work must be done speedily as well. It is for these reasons, plus the savings that can be garnered over using expensive rock and brick materials, that many home and business owners turn to professional ready mix concrete contractors for adding this stylish look to their homes.
You can mix a batch of Cerlon at a time then trowel it because Cerlon will adhere to itself even if it is set without causing a cold joint. Cerlon sets in 10 minutes. Cerlon when setting the temperature reaches in excess of 140 degrees. In my opinion Cerlon to patch concrete is best product to use to eliminate salt from damaging the Concrete. Cerlon also sets fast so there is little or no down time on the area to be repaired. The only down side to Cerlon is the need for training so that Cerlon does not harden before you can finish it.
